ASP has a team of more than 20 professionals with varied experience in the area of Service Tax, Customs, and Central Excise. Our team members have been taken both from government as well as corporate sector. Whereas our senior partners, who have worked at senior positions in government, provide valuable insight about the functioning of the various government departments and procedures and practices followed in government, our ex-corporate team members know the functioning of various businesses.

We also have a team of very senior advisers, who are experts in various areas of Indirect Taxation. These members advise government department, ministries and various committees set up to formulate the Indirect Tax Policy and procedures. The team is led by Mr. Amit Goel, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal and Mr. Arun Gupta.

Amit Goel has more than 16 years experience in Service Tax, Customs & Central Excise. He ventured into his own consultancy in 2006 and has been advising many companies in Service Tax and related matters. He has handled assignments for companies like Soma Networks Inc., Ruia Group, Posco, Nahar group etc.

Sanjay Agarwal has more than 15 years experience in Service Tax, Customs & Central Excise. He has worked with Pantaloon Big Bazaar Group & Mahindra & Mahindra etc. advising them on Service Tax and related matters. He has done MBA from Thunderbird School of Management, Arizona, and MIPP from John Hopkins University SAIS, Washington, DC.

Arun Gupta is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years of experience in Service Tax, Income Tax, Audits, and other tax compliances. He has handled assignments with companies like Accenture, FedEx, Transocean, NW 18, IVF, Punj Lloyd, Intercontinental Hotels…to name a few.
